FixturingOn the fixturing side of things, there are now just three games from the first two sets of home and away fixtures that still need arranging. These are three Bison games as follows... 31st Dec Vs Castles 21st Jan @ Castles 4th Feb Vs Blaze Can these games please be arranged as soon possible. Fortunatly they're from the second set of the schedule so are still a little way away, but I'd still rather have everything arranged in good time so I can concentrate on sorting our the third set of fixtures when the time comes. The web address for the fixtures is at www.fixturelist.com/leagueinfo.php?l=4165Playoff FormatJust so its here really as we won't need to too soon. All series best of 7 games. Good thinking to add this onto this site too ;D
I arranged 99% of my matches the other day but couldn't do the one's a month in advance (14th Jan @ Blaze, 21st Jan @ Castles, 31st jan Home to Leafs or 4th Feb home to Blaze)
it said something about downloading an extended package, so how easy is that etc?

On the left-hand side of the page, below all the navi-bar choices and the "Pro Zone" it should say Sponser - Yes. If that Yes is a No for you, it means you are playing on the standard version and not the Pro version (they havn't set up the pro pack fully yet so you can choose to either use or not use the features... idea is you can see how the game plays with each to decide if you'll want to buy pro in future. Anyway, with that set to Yes your on the Pro set-up, which means you can arrange games up to 120 days in advance. On No, its just 1 month. So check thats set to Yes and you should be able to arrange the games. I'll also point you the 4 fixtures you posted aren't the right ones You've set up 14th Jan @ Blaze and 31st Jan Vs Leafs. You still need to arrange, 31st Dec Vs Castles 21st Jan @ Castles 4th Feb Vs Blaze They should be all possible with the 120 day limit on the pro set up. In any case, those sides should be sending challenges to you to get those games set up

Subject: New general sponsor! Our management signed a general sponsorship deal. General sponsor Quatrefoil Software Offer value 31 000 784 Weekly income 1 937 549 Are we all getting nice and attractive sponsership offers? Mine came from a Grade 5 Human Resources Department and a Team Rating of 188.83 thanks to a fairly easy league that I've dominated for the season ;D By the way that means I rank in at #3968 in the game and qualifies me for the National Cup! As its the top 8192 teams by team rating that enter, that also means I get to play a team weaker than mine in the first round! On the topic of the National Cup. Games are played on Tuesdays each week during the regular season. There are 13 rounds to get 8192 teams down to 1 winner, but of course only half get through the first round of it, and only a small proportion go on past the first 3/4 rounds. Eg round 5 will have just 512 teams, so I'm not too likely to reach that! Anyhow, I can't be the only player in our league with a team rating high enough to qualify for next season which means some of our Tuesday night games will get postponed. These are to be re-arranged for a date asap, probably a Sunday and most likely the Sunday 11 days later (re-arranging a game in 4 days will be hard work!). I doubt any of us will progress too deep into the competition though so it should only affect the first couple of weeks.

Did you try it a second time? Castle's might have to send you the challenge for that one. 4th Feb - Nothing you can do but wait for the challenge to come from Blaze. If it doesn't come, your win.

Never noticed my new sponsorship deal & just checked it out at 17 635 904 Presume this is the 1st offer of 3 so sitting back for the mo (Rushed in last season accepting the 1st offer) I've only got grade 3 HR dept (currently building Grade 4) so presume lower grades mean lower offers

Ian - I think trouncing the floor in Div VI gets your more of a rating than a good Div V playoff position, which does mean I'll most likely have a cash advantage going into next season. I don't know what your HR department is at but I'd be willing to bet that makes a big impact on the size of offer, although we've got a big gap in the overall rating which must surely make an impact aswell. My sponser was 1,000,000 last season I think, me and I think one other in our league got offers of that region, others were ranging from 300-700k. You must be better at this game than me though if I can get 3 times the cash of you this last season yet I can't beat you on the ice! I don't think it said above, but the board's opinion on the offer was I'd be stupid not to accept it. Had the same last year, so both seasons I've taken the first offer and been happy with it. And if I'm offered another 1mill increase next year, I'm sure I'll take that aswell! Never noticed my new sponsorship deal & just checked it out at 17 635 904 Presume this is the 1st offer of 3 so sitting back for the mo (Rushed in last season accepting the 1st offer) I've only got grade 3 HR dept (currently building Grade 4) so presume lower grades mean lower offers I'm almost certain the guide said HR department affects marketing offers, so if yours is only level 3 that'll make a differance I think. Personally I think its a good strategy putting money into the HR department late in the season. It won't make an impact early in the year, but do it late on and its just before your deal for the next season is made. I would have gone to level 6 but the build time was so long. I'll try to aim for 7 ready for next years offer I dunno if the costs go up by much between each level, but so far they're not increasing by much, its just 1.2mill for level 5 and 1.9mill for level 6, which when you've got the level 5 facility providing you 2mill per week, isn't exactly hard to raise!

What I'm currently showing is 5 836 656 (presume this is last seasons offer) Would've thought yours was 10,000,000 either that or I've gone backwards in real terms Current Contract worth 5 836 656 Weekly Donation 364 791 New offer Contract worth 17 635 904 Weekly Donation 1 102 244 The human resources and economic department recommendation: We strongly recommend to accept this offer as we think it is one of the best offers that our club could get. Dammit OK I'm convinced gonna accept 1st offer

My general sponsor offer is 20,926,368 which is 1,307,898 per week
Does anyone know when the other offers ( game time ) will be as i've been advised by my HR department, to only take offer if I don't get any better. They say it's a weak offer!!!!
Also, will I be able to accept any of the offers tomorrow night ( as wont be able to go on computer until I finish work ) or will the game accept an offer for me

Pete - 1,000,000 a week I meant It came out at 17m for the season. Blazebaz - You'll get an offer each game day for 3 days. I'm not sure what time of day the offer comes in, but a day is 6 hours so you'll get an offer then 6 hours later its replaced by the next offer. If you don't accept it before another comes, the first goes away. I think you'll have just about missed the window for the first now or if not almost have done. If you can't get online again until tomorrow night you'll miss all 3 offers, which means you just get given a 4th one which you have to accept. So I guess in your situation its either take what you've been offered, or see what you're given! I'd go by the coaches recomendations as to whether or not its worth taking your offer, but of course you can think for yourself if what you've been offered is good money or not I've no idea if that 4th offer is lower than the others or not, but I'd presume its another randomly generated offer like the first 3 else why would anyone not take the 3rd if they know the 4th will be lower! Once they release the real version of the game you'll get a full reallife day to consider each offer so then you won't get the problem of missing out some of the offers.
