I've gone through everyones fixture lists and picked out the games that are yet to be arranged, also included games from previous dates which I've assigned a new date and added to the list. Here's the list I've put together...

The time all adds up checking through to see if games have been arranged ontop of collecting up results, so here's how its going to work from here. Those are the dates for the games. Its up to you to arrange them yourselves. If the game isn't played on the date listed, no result will be taken and neither team will claim any points. There are 2 exceptions. Firstly, if another date is agreed on and stated in this thread, I will look to that date and take the result from there. Secondly, if you've sent the challenge and just before the game the challenge hasn't been accepted yet, state so in this thread and you will be awarded a 5-0 win if the other player doesn't confirm the game. Please don't just say you've sent all challenges. Send the challenges, and then if there's not long to go to a game and its not been accepted, first of all check the challenge is still there as a sent challenge, and then post on this forum the fixture and that its not been confirmed by the other player.
As I said, you might agree to play on another date. This is fine, but there is a hard deadline on 28th March for all games to be played by. After that day I will be taking the final table, and posting the playoff games. I think I'll give a couple of weeks between each round just so that all the games can be arranged, but lets save playoff talk until all league games are arranged.

Unfortunatly a lot of the games havn't been played and we're even further behind schedule. I am going to give an extended deadline until Sunday 13th April to give you an extra 2 weeks to fit in all the missed games. Hopefully everyone can complete the full 54 game schedule and we'll have true standings at the end of it going into the playoffs. I don't intend to rush the playoff games, so we'll give 2 weeks to arrange each round giving teams a good rest in-between series.
Arranging your games is easy. The previous post shows everygame that was left to be arranged, including upcoming games and previous games that were missed assigned to a new date. Find the games involving your team and arrange them for a free date in your schedule before 13th April, sooner the better. Come that date, I will check through everyones schedules and find results for the games. At that point I'll give the schedule for the first round of playoff games.
As with before, let me know if someone hasn't accepted your challenge and you will be awarded the win.

I have sent a challenge to Blaze for the match scheduled to be played on 13th Feb
This has been set a date of 10th March to give time for the acceptance
It has been accepted and should be played then, as I think the play-offs will be done by then

But they'll show up after week 54 when we get the 2 week period to finish off any leftover games. Playoffs Recap. Just a quick recap, middle section of 3rd to 6th is the quarter finals. The two winners join the top 2 in the semis, and then of course the final. Semi losers get a 3rd/4th game. The bottom section is the positional playoffs. The two winners join the quarter final losers to battle over positions 5-8. Two winners contest for 5th/6th, losers go for 7th/8th. The losers of the bottom section positional playoff contest 9th/10th spot. In terms of teams "Sitting Out". The playoffs are 3 "rounds" long. The top two teams miss the first round, and the 9th/10th finishers won't have a series to play in the final round. Everyone's involved in the middle section. The playoff format is designed so that everyone can move up or down at least 2 places unless obviously you finish first or last, in which case it would be hard to get 2 better/2 worse than where you were! In terms of the "best value" position, I'd say thats 6th, as that team can still win it, whilst not dropping to any lower than 8th. 7th is probably the worst value, as your highest finish is 5th, but you could drop to 10th. So basically, its important to get on the right side of that 2nd dotted line if you want to take the championship! No need to worry about figuring out who your opponent is though, I'll post on here in good time for games to be arranged . |

A tad confused thought I'd upgrade my stands, so dismantled one of my small stands (100) & upgraded to a Medium (but it's still 100)
Has anyone else tried this?

Medium stands have a capacity of 100-200 seats. Go to the stand and there should be an expand capacity option to get it up to the 200 seats. There should have been a choice to choose between the 100 or 200 capacity when you built it, but sounds like you missed it so got the smaller by default. |

Well in my game its only just flushed out all the inactives from my V league, and so after my 3rd place finish from last season which fell to 7th in the playoffs, isn't looking likely to be repeated this year as I'm 2-2-0-4-0 in the league, giving me 10 points from 8 games, for 13th spot. These teams that have come up are looking good... I think my two full seasons spent on facilities and not players is starting to catch up on me. Still, I'm making 3.8mill a week from my sponsers and my youth system is producing some pretty good rookies, so the futures good. I'm just looking in the market now to spend 10-15 million on a top goalie to turn my results around.

Sent challenges for our three remaining away games but all three teams have the same two dates available, looks like one might get played late.
On the plus side, we won our division and playoff so finally got promotion, little bit tougher in V though, especially when you don't log in for a few days and then find out that you star netminder is out for 3 weeks and you backup, nicknamed 'The Sieve' has been letting them in for fun for a few games! Out came the cheque book and a new Finnish nettie with a 160 goalie rating comes in!
